About Nu-mă-uita

Nu-mă-uita is a Romanian phone app that keeps track of documents with an expiry date (the ITP roadworthiness test, RCA car insurance, the road vignette, ID card, passport, driving licence, home safety checks) and sends a notification in good time before each deadline. It is free, works without an account and without ads, and the documents stay on the phone.

Who makes it

Nu-mă-uita is made by Alexandru Paraschivoiu. It is not a government app and does not represent any public institution.

You can write to us at numauita.app@gmail.com.

Why it is free

It's new and has no server. Your documents stay on your phone and never reach us, so we can't see them or sell them. There are no ads, and no one pays us for the links in the app. What you use now stays free forever.

Nothing can be bought in the app.

Will it ever cost anything?

For now, every feature is free, with no limits. If a subscription ever appears, you keep everything you use until then free, forever — the limits would only apply to people who install the app after that. Details in Settings → Price.

Where the information comes from

The document information and links in the app come from official sources: hub.mai.gov.ro and pasapoarte.mai.gov.ro (Ministry of Internal Affairs), rarom.ro (RAR), erovinieta.ro, etoll.ro and cnadnr.ro (CNAIR), asfromania.ro (ASF), legislatie.just.ro.

On this site, every checklist and every guide ends with its list of sources and the date they were checked. Where there is no official procedure, the page says so.

We don't list sums of money, because they change: we say where to find them on the official page.

Where two official pages say different things, the page says so and links to both.

We are not an official source and we don't give legal advice — before you travel there or pay anything, check the institution's own page. We are not a government app. Links open the official websites.

Your data

Your cars, documents, expiry dates and photos are saved on your phone: the app has no server. We don't show ads or sell data. Everything that leaves your phone, and why, is set out clearly in the Privacy Policy.

This website doesn't use cookies, visitor analytics, or fonts and scripts loaded from third parties.

The name

“Nu-mă-uita” is the Romanian name of the forget-me-not, the flower on the app icon.

Where it stands

  • Android: in closed testing on Google Play, with a group of testers. The public launch is coming.
  • iPhone: a version is in the works.
